Today I’ll be talking about another home tattoo removal product called Tat B Gone. I attempted to contact Tat B Gone by email to ask them if they would like to offer some insights about their product but they didn’t reply. I personally would be a bit reluctant to order from a company that wont answer a simple email.

I spent the morning looking over the Tat B Gone website to figure out exactly what they bring to the table with their tattoo removal cream product. What I was left with was a feeling of confusion. Their website does claim that over 95% of the people who use their Tat Be Gone achieve satisfying results. They also claim that Tat B Gone is the most effective tattoo fade away system on the market. They state that the age or color of the tattoo doesn’t matter but they go on to say that darker inks take longer to fade than lighter inks. They state that Tat B Gone is manufactured in an FDA approved lab and that the FDA is familiar with the ingredients and considers them safe for use on the “general population”. They say that their product should not be used on the eyes, wounded skin, or lips.   I wish I was able to offer a better Tat B Gone review but I’m left with only the option of reporting the claims that Tat B Gone makes on their website.

The Tat Be Gone website claims that it is the simplest, most affordable (if you read on, this doesn’t seem to be the case), of any of the tattoo fade cream products on the market. This intrigued me and I searched to their web site to find any documentation about why they made these statements but I came out pretty much empty.

Tat Be Gone says that their product is a three step process which is similar to Wrecking Balm but they don’t elaborate on what these three steps entail. They say step one prepares the tattoo for treatment so that it will accept steps two and three but it doesn’t say what step one is. They say step two activates a breakdown of tattoo ink and step three infuses the fade away. I can’t think of anything that might be more vague than that. That explanation left me feeling empty and confused.

Is it really the most affordable do it yourself tattoo removal product?  Let’s have a look at this for a minute. You can purchase a one month trial of their product for $59.99. If you purchase Wrecking Balm through my website, you will save $20 which means it will cost you $79.95 for 24 applications. With the Wrecking Balm tattoo removal system, you apply the product three times a week. This means that three times a week multiplied by four weeks in a month means that you will apply Wrecking Balm twelve times a month. For $79.95 you get a two month supply of Wrecking Balm and for $59.99 you only get a one month supply of Tat B Gone.  Looks to me like Wrecking Balm is more affordable than Tatbgone.

One thing that quite surprised me was that Tatbgone doesn’t offer any type of satisfaction guarantee on their product. This really left me wondering why they won’t stand behind their product if the customer is unhappy with the results from using their product. Wrecking Balm offers up to a six month money back satisfaction guarantee on their tattoo removal product. Both Ink Busters and Nuviderm also offer a six month money back satisfaction guarantee if you’ll purchase their product but your unsatisfied with the results. Other tattoo removal creams that I don’t believe offer a guarantee are Dermasal, Tattoo Off, and Tat Med.

I really wish that Tat B Gone would have stepped up and made a statement about why people should buy their product but they didn’t so we’re left with a lot of unanswered questions. Personally, I would feel much more comfortable purchasing tattoo removal cream from a company that was willing to stand behind their product with a satisfaction guarantee. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions.
